Duco NC Sanding Sealer

Duco NC Sanding Sealer is a fast drying, high-build sealer, which can effectively seal and fill in pores in wood. Reduce the effect of unevenness in wood surfaces and strengthens the adherence of the topcoat to the surface. Suitable for interior wooden surfaces.

High Build Sealer

Surface Preparation :

1. For pre-polished wood, remove all existing coatings by sanding or scraping.
2. For new wood, sand surface smooth using emery paper no 180 followed by 320/400. Wipe off loose dust particles. If required remove dust and grease using a cloth soaked in Duco thinner,
3. For uneven surfaces, apply a filler coat using a putty knife or muslin cloth. Remove excess filler and allow small pits and minor cracks to dry for 1 hour. Staining is optional. Sand off with emery paper no. 180 followed by 320. Wipe off loose dust particles.

Sealing :
Thin Duco NC Sanding sealer with Duco Thinner. Apply at least 2-3 coats by spray or 8-10 passes by rag for proper build and finish. Additional coats may be applied, if required and sand again as before. The dry surface is now ready for applying a clear coat.

Recommended application by brush or spray or rag after mixing with Duco Thinner

High Build Sealer

• Flammable material
• Store container in upright position, with lid tightly closed, in a cool, dry place, away from ignition sources.
• In case of fire, use foam, dry powder, Carbon Dioxide. Never use water.
• Keep out of reach of children and away from combustible material, food, drink and animal feed
• Avoid contact with skin. Remove splashes from skin with soap and water or a recognised skin cleanser.
• In case of ingestion seek immediate medical attention and show the container or label to medical personnel.
• Use only in well- ventilated areas.Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Avoid inhalation of dust and solvent vapour/spray by wearing suitable nose pad.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• Avoid release to the environment. Do not pour leftovers down the drain or in water courses.
• In the event of spills, contain spillage using sand or earth
