Surface Preparation :
For smooth surface, ensure surface is smooth and free from grime, dust, grease, loose or flaking particles by using emery paper no. 300 or emery paper no. 320. For minor cracks and uneven surface, rectify and smoothen the surface by applying solvent based putty after sanding the first coat of primer. Repeat putty application if required. Do light sanding for final surface smoothening.

Priming :
Once the surface is cleaned, apply two coats of primer. Sand between coats. Use ICI Wood primer for wooden surfaces ( White Wood Primer 34-300 or Pink Wood Primer 32-139). For metal surfaces use ICI Red Oxide Metal Primer 34-100. Dry overnight. Do light sanding for final surface smoothening.

Finishing :
Stir paint thoroughly and strain through muslin cloth before use. Apply 2 coats of paint over the primed surface after thinning with ICI Dulux Thinner (61-33). Do light sanding between coats. For spray application, the first coat should be wet-sanded with waterproof emery paper grade 320-400 before applying the second coat. Dry and re-coatable after 4-5 hours. Dry overnight for hard drying.

Thinning :
Use 25-30% thinner for brush and 30-35% thinner for spray application.

• Flammable Material
• Store container in upright position, with lid tightly closed, in a cool, dry place away from ignition source
• In case of fire, use foam, dry powder, CO2. Never use water.
• Keep out of reach of children and away from combustible material, food, drink and animal feed
• May be harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion seek immediate medical attention.
• Ensure good ventilation at all times. Do not breathe vapour or spray. Avoid inhalation of dust by wearing suitable nose pad during sanding and surface preparation.
• Wear eye protection during application. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• Avoid contact with skin. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Remove splashes from skin with soap and water or a recognised skin cleanser.
• Do not pour leftover paint down the drain or in water courses.
• In the event of spills, contain spillage using sand or earth
