Application Description

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose particles, dirt, dust, chalk, grease, fungi, mold, and flaking paint. For damp areas, apply Dulux Aquatech Interior Waterproof Basecoat. Avoid using Dulux Velvet Touch Eterna on surfaces with continuous dampness.

Priming: Apply Dulux Velvet Touch Eterna basecoat (50% dilution) and let dry for 4-6 hours.

Putty Application: Fill dents with Dulux Acrylic wall putty. Allow 6-8 hours to dry, then sand with 180 grit emery paper and wipe clean.

Priming (Post-Putty): Prime putty-surfaced areas with Dulux Velvet Touch Eterna basecoat (50% dilution) and let dry for 4-6 hours.

Dilution: For Brilliant white & pastel shades, dilute 1 liter of paint with 250-300 ml water. For dark colors, use a maximum of 200 ml water (additional coats may be needed). Shake well before use.

Finishing: Stir thoroughly. Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Velvet Touch Eterna Topcoat Paint, allowing 4-6 hours drying time between coats.

Health & Safety

"Keep out of the reach of children, away from food, drinks and animal feed. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wear eye/hand protection. Do not breathe vapour/spray. Use only in well ventilated areas. Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet [sanding]/[flatting] should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning."

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Storing
    Observe the label precautions. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers which are opened should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not use or store any paint container by hanging on a hook.
