Product Description

Dulux Aquatech Exterior Damp Protect 2 in 1 is a high quality premium waterproofing coating that provides good water resistance when applied on both Exterior vertical walls & Roof surfaces. It's revolutionary Damp Resist Technology bridges cracks and covers the porous wall or Roof surface with a thick film that creates a durable and protective layer. This helps in preventing water seepage thus providing better waterproofing on the applied surfaces.

Application Description

Side Wall Application:
• Clean the side walls properly as per recommendation.
• Fill the cracks using Aquatech Crack Filler
• Apply 1 self-priming coat of Dulux Aquatech Damprotect 2in1 with 30% dilution.
• Post Drying apply 1 coat of Dulux Aquatech Damprotect 2in1 without dilution and allow for 6-8 hrs of drying.
• Post Drying apply 2 coats of Dulux Weathershield Protect Rainproof or Dulux Weathershield Protect Dustproof with recommended dilution.
• Please ensure 6-8 hours of drying between the 2 coats. Proper film thickness is essential for the water proofing. Therefore it is important that Dulux Aquatech Damprotect 2in1 Coverage shouldn’t exceed 35-45 sq.ft/Lit.
• If recommended coverage is not achieved additional coat must be applied for desired performance.

Roof Application:
• Clean the roof and parapet surface thoroughly as per recommendation.
• Fill the cracks using Aquatech Crack Filler.
• Apply a self-priming coat of Dulux Aquatech Damprotect 2in1 over the dried surface by diluting with water

Health & Safety

Treatments such as sanding, burning off, etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding should be used whenever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    • Clean the surface thoroughly for any powdery loose particles by brushing and water jetting. Allow surface to dry completely.
    • Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely (12 weeks for new masonry surfaces).
