Product Description

Dulux Aquatech Interior Waterproof basecoat is an easy to apply, primer-upgrade waterproofing undercoat that is made up of micronized pigments and fillers forming an extremely tough film that protects the top coat layer from mild dampness. It offers 10X better water resistance and 2X higher stretchability against ordinary primers, thus providing better finish and performance to topcoats.

Application Description

Stir the sample well before use.
Apply 2 thin coats of Dulux Polyputty/Acrylic Wallputty or Aquatech Waterproof putty on the surface. Allow it to dry properly. Sand with emery paper 180/220. Wipe clean the surface.
Apply 1 coat of Dulux Aquatech Interior Waterproof Basecoat with 50% dilution with a forced coverage of 180-200 sqft/liter. Allow it to dry for 3-4 hours.
Now the surface is ready for topcoat application. Apply topcoat as per the application recommendations of respective topcoats.
Apply a single coat of Dulux Aquatech Aquatech interior basecoat with 50% dilution with a forced coverage of 180-200 sqft/liter. Allow it to dry for 3-4 hours.

Health & Safety

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding should be used whenever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.
