Product Description

Dulux Promise Sheen Exterior Emulsion is a high quality, water based smooth emulsion paint which provides high sheen to your walls. Its Chroma Brite Glow-UV Fight Technology keeps the exterior wall colour brighter for longer. It is equipped with good coverage and good opacity formulation which gives a good finish to the walls and its unique Anti Peeling properties ensures that the paint film remains intact under the exterior weather conditions.

Application Description

Step 1 : Surface Preparation
Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow at least 12 weeks as the curing time for new masonry surfaces. Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint.

Step 2 : Application Process
Application of putty is not recommended. Apply one self- priming coat or one coat of Dulux Promise exterior Primer or Dulux Exterior Acrylic Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Promise Sheen over the primer coat and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours between the coats. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, Chajjas, parapet wall, etc.

Step 3 : Drying Time
Recoating time is up to 6 hours and touch dry is up to 30mins.

Health & Safety

No added lead, mercury and chromium compounds. Lead content in dried paint film does not exceed 90 parts per million. Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.
