Dulux Promise Smartchoice Interior Primer is a value for primer having good adhesion to interior masonry surfaces, both new and previously decorated such as brickwork, plaster, cement, fibre boards, etc. Correct application of primer assures better quality and durability of the finished coat.
Step 1: Surface Preparation
Prime surface with a coat of Dulux Promise SmartChoice Primer and dry overnight. Smoothen the surface by filling dents with thin coats of Duwel Acrylic Putty. Allow drying for 4-6 hours. Apply another coat of Dulux Promise SmartChoice Primer Step 2 : Application Process
Apply 2 coats of Dulux Promise Interior or Promise Smartchoice Interior thinned with 500-600 ml of water for 1 litre of paint with 4-6 hours interval between the coats. Recommended thinning for dark colour is 300-400 ml water. Dark shades might require up to 3 coats of paint.

Step 3 : Drying Time
Recoating time is up to 4 hours and touch dry is up to 30mins.
Keep out of reach of children and away from food and animal feed. Avoid contact with skin & eyes and wear suitable gloves. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required.
  • 2. After use
    For best performance of paint ensure proper washing and cleaning of all algal and fungal growth at regular interval of six months.
