Product Description

Dulux Weathershield Alkali Bloc PU+ Exterior Primer is a superior quality, high-performance priming cum sealing system suitable for applications on external plaster surface to improve adhesion between wall and topcoat material. Enriched with Polyurethane technology, the primer penetrates the substrate effectively, sealing its pores. This results in a smooth, even topcoat with an impeccable finish.
This primer is specially designed to give up to 10X water resistance against ordinary primers and excellent Alkali resistance to exterior masonry substrate, thus resists peeling or flaking of topcoat and enhances its life.

Application Description

Step 1 : Surface Preparation
Ensure that the surface is completely dry and thoroughly clean and free from grime, dust, flakes, grease, oily substances, etc.
Step 2 : Application process
For old surfaces, before applying remove all loosely adhering particles or powdery materials by thoroughly scraping, followed by cleaning. Apply one coat of Dulux Weathershield Alkali Bloc PU+ Primer over dried surface.

Health & Safety

Store container in an upright position, with lid tightly closed in a cool dry place. Keep out of reach of children and away from food and animal feed. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Ensure Surface is dry & free from grime, dust, and grease. Remove loose or flaking particles. Sand the surface by using Emery paper No. 180 & wipe
    clean. For prepainted surface, where putty application is not expected use
    Emery paper No. 320 & wipe clean.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with water immediately after use.
